Jack's favorite snack while Training is a hotdog. I cut up little pieces and everytime he does what he is supposed to do, he gets a treat. Only problem with that is when I hold out the piece of hotdog, he sticks my whole hand in his mouth!

One of the first things I've learned about obedience is how much you have to repeat things. People get tired of doing the same thing over and over, but sometimes canines have trouble remembering lessons when they are excited or upset. So, be prepared for a long haul of repetition. It pays off eventually with a companion animal who is a joy to have along to meet friends and travel with.
